Research and Development is part of academic and can’t be avoided at any point. Research is the keyword enhancing the knowledge of people who involved in that activity and create a better ambience/platform for the good educational system. This will create a common point to utilize the knowledge of different researchers, industrialist, and students for the development/elucidation of new ideas/concepts/technologies. R&D is taking much attention in Engineering Colleges and Technological Universities and is having least attention in Polytechnic Colleges level. KHTPC encouraging its faculty members and students to take effective activities/ involvement in Research and Innovative projects development activities. The effective involvement of students in developing the innovative projects encourage themselves to stick on effective learning process and it may help them to improve their studies. The faculty members of KHTPC are advised to pursue the higher education (M.E. / M. Tech. / Ph.D.) and asked to submit the proposals possibly to national funding agencies. Empowerment of faculty members will results in effective teaching-learning process and it may improve the technical competency of them too.

SIH 2022 SIH 2022 brings the next generation evolution by inclusion of new methodology to inculcate the culture of start-up and innovation ecosystem across different age groups. SIH 2022 is supported by Ministry of Education, Government of India in association with AICTE. Students of KHTPC are encouraged to participate in Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 event by submitting innovative solutions/ideas for the problems given the SIH 2022. This is the first initiative among the KHTPC students to come forward to submit their ideas in National level and its shows their change in attitude of viewing the academics from other angle.
Faculty members are asked to submit their research works in reputed National/International Journals/Conferences have indexing in SCIE/SCI/Scopus/Web of Science. Students are asked to present and publish their final year project works in National/International Conferences possibly, even it is not insisted by DOTE.
Faculty members are asked to contribute their research work in the publication of books/book chapters with renowned publishers.
