Library

The Central Library in the Collegeis established with proper ambience for studies. It is housed in a building with more than 3764 volumes of books by covering all six streams of studies available in this College. The Library has excellent collection of Books, Journals and non-book material in the fields of Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities and Management. Separate collections of Reference Books, Standards, and Back volumes of Journals, Technical Reports, Theses and Compact Discs are maintaining in the Library for the reference of Staff members and Students. Library Catalogue by covering Author^s name, Title, Subject is maintained by the Librarian and books issue register is followed to monitor the flow of books among the members. Staff members and students are allowed to return the books within 14 days from the date of book issue. In case of book request for subject preparation from the staff members, 3 month time will be given based on the available volume of book.

Digital Library :

The Digital Library will have 5 Computer systems for the use of students and staff with large no. of CDs containing learning material for all the Branches. KHTPC is a member in National Digital Library of India and having provision to access the e-books of discipline, Journals. Students can access the materials subject wise and they can learn without the help teachers. The e-books of various disciplines are already collected and are available in digital library for the reference of staff members and students.

Hostel

The accommodation is free for all the students as a favour of encouraging the students who opted the KHTPC as their choice. The clean and tidy environment is ensured for the hostel students. Every day hostel students are having 2 hours compulsory study hours between 8.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.. The hostellers are permitted to access computing facilities with the presence of faculty members who stayed in the hostel. Students can utilize the Sports/Games facilities available in the campus after the regular College hours. Students’ attendance and their health related issues will be taken care of by deputy wardens under the supervision of Principal and Administrative Officer. Hostel students are not allowed to leave the campus without the permission from the Principal. Students discipline and attendance are strictly monitored to ensure the good environment for hostel students’ studies. Hostel students areallowed to go to their home only on month end holidays by informing their parents about their travel and taking the permission from the Principal.

Transport

The well-conditioned College buses are being operated for convenience of students coming from different places. Reasonable fare is charged for the students based on the distance they are travelling.

Excellent Transportation is one of the special features of our institution. We have a buses running to all the parts of the Karur town and surroundings. It covers different areas from three districts such as Karur, Dindigul and Tirupur. Free transport facility is provided for all staff members and students’ discipline inside the bus is ensured by the staff members. The issues related to the Transport will be resolved by the Administrative Officer and the same will be addressed to the Principal.

Information :

1. Present a student ID card or a class schedule and a picture ID before being allowed to board the bus.

2. Students who are not registered will be allowed to ride the bus for up to one week. After this time, they will not be allowed to ride the bus.

3. Due to Covid pandemic conditions, students are not permitted to board the bus if they are not wearing mask.

4. Students who creating the disciplinary issues inside the bus are not allowed to access the bus facility further.

5. Changes in bus timings (if any) will be intimated prior to the students and parents

Bank

The nearby bank available to our College is Bank of India, Malaikovilur. Students are facilitated to open/access the bank account in that bank based on their interest. Moreover, all fees to be paid to the College can be paid by the following ways,

2. Do the Cash Remittance/ NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions. (Challan copy should be submitted to College office to get the bill).

Canteen

A variety of hygienic food & snack items which includes Cakes, Fresh Juices, Chinese Food, Meals, Variety Rice, Ice Creams, etc. are served at a nominal rate. It is mainly used by the students and staff. Students are allowed to access the canteen other than class hours. Food conditions are periodically monitored and reviewed by the Principal and Management by collecting the views from the Students.

Hospital

We are having Cruiser vehicle 24×7 available in our campus to attend the medical emergency if any. In case of any medical assistance needed, the condition of the student will be notified to the Parents and with their concurrence the students will be taken into the nearby hospitals. Medical assistance for our Hostel students will be taken care of by Deputy Wardens, Principal and Administrative Officer round the clock.
